Static Bloom

Ana was a classical piano student who quit the conservatory the semester she discovered synthesizers in a borrowed dorm room — her parents heard noise; she heard weather. Felix was a marching-band drummer who lost the hearing in one ear at nineteen to a firework accident and refused every suggestion that he was done: he learned to play by feel, standing barefoot on stage boards to read the kit through the floor. They met when Ana sampled a broken radio and Felix asked what the static was saying. Their music exists
